Lazer Helmets was showing off a prototype for their 2009 Tardis Time Trial Helmet. The Tardis will be constructed with two layers. The top layer will have a smooth finish, while the back lower half will have a matte finish with aero dimples to smooth the air as it passes to the rider’s back. For cooling, the Tardis features three intake vents with small exit ports along the back. One unique feature is the Aquavent port on the top of the helmet. The Aquavent allows the rider to use their water bottle to pour water through the helmet for further cooling. Estimated price will be $175.00

The Lazer Helium will take the place of the Genesis at the top of Lazer's line of road helmets. The Helium features the same shape as the Genesis but is available in three sizes compared to the Genesis's two. The Helium also has a slightly different look and a lower weight of 220-grams. The Helium features dual density foam, deep air channels and Lazer's Rollsys fitting system. The Price for the new Helium will run about $220.

The Prologo Choice Max TT 1.4 is the saddle choice of Tour de France winner Carlos Sastre. Weighing in at 230-grams the Choice Max TT 1.4 features titanium rails with replaceable micro fiber padding. Currently red and black pad options are available with more colors available later in 2009.

The new Pedro’s Vice Whip is a locking chain whip. It is made from heat-treated steel and fits cogs from 11 to 23 teeth. The vice whip allows for a secure grip on cogs when unscrewing the cassette. The best thing about the Vice Whip is that it does away with the need for conventional chain whips, which have a tendency to slip when pressure is applied.
