Everyone is on Trek Madones, other than a quick Radio Shack sticker on the top tube and name plates on the seat tube, they are standard bikes with no special paint.The only guy with special paint was Bart Knaggs - typical!
As far as bike spec goes, everyone has SRM, Bontrager training wheels and Hutchinson tires. A lot of Look pedals and Bontrager saddles with a smattering of Selle San Marco and Selle Italia.
One reason we like Jason McCartney? He was smart enough to eschew the Wall Street Journal (delivered to the rooms) and go to the front desk to ask for the New York Times.
Johan warned the media about following the training ride - “We're in America. It's easy to go to jail here (for traffic violations). It's not Italy or France!”
In the mechanics room, there were SRAM parts scattered all over as the bikes were being assembled...the amount of parts needed is truly amazing.
Everyone is running with SRAM One World Two Wheels charity water bottles.
Most of the riders are all wearing 2009 team kits - the official uniform is still getting tweaked.
While we waited for the Pro riders, all of the Trek U-23 riders were already riding off in the distance.
Besides the road bikes, there is also a truck full of mountain bikes – Lance plans to take everyone off-road!
Eki is still working (a downsized) Euro mullet.

Bill Armas from Park Tools was leaving as he already set the mechanic's up with new tools – they insist on using old-style work stands (bottom brack mount) and not the latest/greatest from Park.
The official team camp will be in February in Tenerife.
