EURO BIKE 2009: EUROBIKE DAY TWO: ITALIAN BIKE MADNESS
September 3, 2009

The Wilier Crono Cento is a work of art. Designed by John Cobb, this version features Shimano Di2, Vision Tri Max Ultimate wheels and a Ritchey bar combo.

THE ITALIANS ARE HERE
It is difficult to describe the amount of Italian bike-art at Eurobike. We could have spent all day in hall A-1, but had to pull ourselves away after only a few hours. There is a certain confidence and style and atmosphere when a group of Italian companies join together to show their wares. Here are a few highlights of the Italian Hall at Eurobike.

The De Rosa King 3 RS features a sleek matte finish, Campagnolo Super Record 11-Speed and Bora Ultra Two wheels.

The RBA crew has taken a liking to many Tommasini offerings. The highlight of their booth at Eurobike was this gold-label Velocista with Campagnolo Super-Record 11-Speed, Fulcrum Speed Racing wheels, FSA OS99 stem and Carbon Pro bar and a Prologo Nago saddle.

The Bianchi Pico D/2 Crono features Vision TriMax Ultimate carbon wheels, a Vision carbon crankset, Shimano Dura-Ace drivetrain and a Fizik Arione Tri 2 saddle.

The Carrera Hercules is a less dramatic design than the Phibra, but still maintains Carrera's unique take on frame design. The Hercules features Vision TriMax carbon wheels, a Shimano Dura-Ace drivetrain with an FSA crankset and a Selle Italia SLR saddle.

The Wilier Imperiele caught our attention due to the melding of TT/Road design, wild seat tube and top tube frame connection  (detail below) and the Vision TT bar and Ritchey Carbon Apex wheels.

It was tough to not drool over the Passoni Top Force with Shimano Di2. The oversized titanium tubes, internal cable routing and 02 Racing wheels complete the package.
