The FSA Neo Pro crankset is designed to be the fastest crankset in the world. FSA uses their third generation carbon hollow crank arms and monocoque construction to create crank arms with an aerodynamic wing shaped cross section. To further increase aerodynamic efficiency the back of the crank arms are recessed slightly to seamlessly fit over the ceramic cartridge bottom bracket. The crank arms are then mounted to an aero carbon disc spider, and carbon fiber wrapped aluminum 54/42 chainrings. The Neo Pros are available in 170, 172.5, 175, 177.5 or 180-millimeter lengths.

The FSA Neo Pro crankset is an amazing piece of equipment, the wide wing shaped crankarms and solid carbon fiber chainrings give a elegant, yet purposeful look. As with most high dollar items, RBA testers were expecting a lot from the Neo Pros and for the most part they did not disappoint. The crank arms were very stiff and combined with the solid carbon chainrings provided instant power transfer. Even larger more powerful riders came back impressed with the cranks solid feel. Ironically the aspect of the cranks that generated the most comments was the ceramic bearing bottom bracket. Almost every tester said they could feel a marked improvement over a conventional bottom bracket in smoothness and ease of pedaling. The Neo Pros are designed for racers that live in a world were fractions of seconds mean the difference between winning and losing. If you live in this world the Neo Pros can give you an edge.
