The Mandible is ultra light due to specially designed cage arms that allow for a smaller cross section, yet still provides 40-percent more holding power than a conventional cage. To keep the weight down, but still provide strength, Arundel builds the Mandible with a foam core construction. This foam core construction also allows the mounting bolts to be recessed to allow for easier insertion of the bottle.
