The American Classic 38 Tubular wheels are designed to be light, strong and aerodynamic for road racing and triathlons. The mid v profile of the Carbon 38 rims is an aerodynamic advantage but still provide solid handling in strong cross winds. The wheels use 18 radially laced spokes in the front and 24 in the rear with a 2-cross lacing pattern. The 38 Tubulars use American Classic’s own Micro 58 front and RD 205 rear hubs, (Powertap hub available) and are available in either Shimano/SRAM 9/10 or Campagnolo 9/10/11 cassettes with optional ceramic bearings. The 38 Tubulars weigh 1242-grams a pair.
