The AX Lightness Orions are currently the lightest road brakes on the market. The Orions weigh 160-grams for a complete set and are manufactured from specially designed and oriented carbon laminates. The brakes are manufactured and assembled by hand in Germany. The return springs, cable assemblies, pivot bolts, and mounting hardware are machined in-house from titanium, while the pad holders, and barrel adjusters are machined from 7075 aluminum.
