Garneau's Speed Matrix clothing is designed for speed. Louis Garneau claims a Speed Matrix kit is the most aerodynamic cycling kit available for speeds of 15 to 45 mph. The surface of the Speed Matrix fabric is covered with small dimples. These dimples create a thin layer of air next to the fabric and becomes turbulent; this turbulent air flows smoother over the curves of the body and reduces drag. The dimples also aid in wicking moisture away from the body keeping the rider cooler and dryer. Available in SM-XXL.
The Speed Matrix shorts feature 10-panel, flat-seam construction to provide a contour fit with no inside seems. The Louis Garneau Matrix 3 Gel chamois features three ergonomically positioned gel inserts to eliminate pressure. Wide gripping leg bands holds the shorts in place and increase muscle compression.
