The Cane Creek 110 IS integrated headset features an exclusive alloy for better durability and lower weight. Cane Creek claims that the 110 IS is so durable that it backs it with a 110-year warranty. A new split lip seal keeps moisture and dirt out and grease in. The new lip seal also produces less drag than normal seals. The 110 IS also features tapered compression rings that set bearing preload to keep the headset from coming loose. The Cane Creek 110 comes with 17.5 millimeters of color-matched “scalloped” Interlok spacers. This design provides a solid interface between the top cover and the spacer stack while shaving an additional 25-percent in weight off a standard alloy spacer stack.
