The Barrier GTX is designed for riding in frigid temperatures, drifting snow, unrelenting rain and gale force winds. In other words they are perfect for cyclocross racing. The Barrier GTX features a Gore-Tex lining for waterproof protection, with 200-gram 3M Thinsulate insulation for warmth. The Barrier GTX’s nylon sole with traction lugs allow for solid footing while running. The Barrier GTX comes with a 2-bolt SPD cleat pattern. The top of the shoe features a rubber toecap for added durability, along with an integrated gaiter and water-resistance zip-up lace cover. An internal speed-lacing system is used for easy fit adjustment.
