The CX Zero features a monocoque carbon shell with integrated rails that are constructed completely of carbon fiber. The CX Zero weighs only 81-grams, while the Teknologika version with 10-grams of padding is just 91-grams. Aside from the weight, what makes the CX Zero unique is the U-shaped integrated seat rails. This innovative design allows for the use of a standard seatpost and allows the back of the saddle to flex slightly to absorb road shock. Since the U-shape ends toward the middle saddle, the nose of the CX Zero remains solid for better support.
