The Vredestein Fortezza SL Competition clinchers are intended for criteriums, time trials or triathlons. The Fortezza SLs are a softer, single-compound version of the Vredestein’s legendary Fortezza TriComp tires. Like the Fortezza TriComps the SLs feature Vredestrein’s Proprietary double-overlapping casing for a supple ride. They also use the TriComp’s CCS (Curve Control System) to keep their shape during cornering for a more consistent feel and grip. The SLs use a 120tpi casing with a 145psi recommended inflation pressure and a weight of 185-grams. They are available 700 x 23c and come in only black.
