FSA has long led the way in the use of ceramic bearings in bicycle components. The reduced rolling resistance and superior longevity of ceramic bearings have now been applied to the FSA Orbit Extreme Pro headset.
Ceramic bearings are up to 10 times harder than steel balls. This hardness translates into smoother, more durable bearings. This creates a headset that will outlast, and out perform standard bearing headsets. The FSA Orbit Extreme Pro Ceramic features 1-1/8" angular contact bearings, a stainless steel crown race, and forged and CNC'd 7075/T6 cups. The FSA Orbit Extreme Pro Ceramic features a custom red top cover and weighs 94-grams.
