Weighing less than 120-grams the Lightweight RD carbon rear derailleur is about 30-percent lighter than most derailleurs. Despite its low weight the inherent stiffness of the carbon fiber keeps the shifting precise.
Aside from low weight, the main priorities for the Lightweight design team were reliability and durability. All screws are set in inserts made from hardened aluminum instead of being cut into the carbon fibers. Where necessary, the Lightweight RD carbon rear derailleur uses heavier steel parts to ensure precise function. The derailleur is equipped with KCNC pulleys and is compatible with Shimano and Campagnolo 9 and 10-speed shifters.
