Visiting German track specialists Christian Grasmann and Leif Lampater didn't disappoint on Father's Day Sunday as the duo broke clear and went 1-2 at the Harlem Skyscraper Classic criterium in New York City. With no organization in the main field, the duo's lead ebbed and flowed but never looked in danger as they flew around Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem on a hot, humid afternoon.

Grasmann's initial solo move was joined by an artful bridge by his teammate, and once the two were together, the field's fate was sealed. The two riders represented the Transportation Alternatives-Rockstar Games team for the event, which also happened to be sponsored by Rockstar Games. The field sprint was won by Melito Heredia (Innovation Bike).
Laura Van Gilder (Mellow Mushroom) claimed the women's race, beating out Laura McCaughey (Salamander), while Kimberly Edwards (CVC-Suburu of New England) rounded out the podium.
