In an effort to keep up with their fans around the world, Lance Armstrong, Ivan Basso, Johan Bruyneel and Taylor Phinney have all started daily updates with twitter.com. Following Lance Armstrong’s lead, the cycling intelligentsia are allowing rare glimpses into their personal life with mundane, daily and highly addictive updates so fans can follow their progress as they train and plan for the 2009 season. Lance also communicates frequently with cancer patients on twitter with words of encouragement.
A quick review of the last ten days will give you a sense of why it’s worth following these web journals.
